Connect multiple Gmail accounts to Claude or ChatGPT

Why the native connector stops at one account

Claude's Gmail connector authorizes a single Google identity; connecting another account replaces the first. ChatGPT's Gmail app behaves similarly for most users, and neither assistant can search across accounts in one question.

The fix: one connector that holds all of them

Emailgents connects each Gmail account separately on its side and exposes all of them to the assistant through one custom connector. The assistant signs in to Emailgents once and sees every account in list_accounts. Searches span all accounts unless the agent narrows them.

Step by step

1. 01Sign up at emailgents.com.
2. 02Under Mailboxes click Add, choose Gmail / Google Workspace and sign in with the first account. Repeat for each account; Google lets you pick which one on every sign-in.
3. 03In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, URL https://emailgents.com/mcp. In ChatGPT: Settings, Apps, Advanced, Developer mode, Create connector with the same URL.
4. 04Sign in to Emailgents when the assistant asks and approve once.

If your Workspace admin blocks third-party sign-in

Some organizations restrict OAuth apps. In that case choose Gmail (app password) in Emailgents instead: turn on 2-Step Verification, create an app password at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords and paste it in. The mailbox connects over IMAP with labels as folders.

Beyond Gmail

The same connection also carries Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, AOL, Zoho, GMX and any IMAP server, so the question above can cover every inbox you own, not only Google ones.

Emailgents is read-only apart from read and starred flags. Keep the native connector if you want the assistant to send from your main account.
