Emailgents vs ChatGPT's Gmail and Outlook apps

OpenAI ships Gmail and Outlook as first-party apps in ChatGPT. On paid plans they let ChatGPT search, read and draft mail and show up in chat and deep research.
They stop at those two providers, each connected to ChatGPT alone. iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail, Zoho and any IMAP mailbox are out of scope, and the connection cannot be reused by Claude, Cursor or a script.
Emailgents connects to ChatGPT as a custom MCP connector in developer mode and brings the rest of your mailboxes along. The same connection also serves every other agent you use.

Yes. Emailgents exposes every connected mailbox through one connector; ChatGPT can search across all of them or filter by account.
